United States of Arseholes (Part IV)
All email services on public domain with servers in US are open to scrutiny by US Intelligence Services. This would have not been publicly known on record had it not been a whistle blower. Not that it was a secret otherwise but with China doing the same it is cyber war. So anything that US do is justified under National Security. So all privacy clauses claimed by the email service providers were a fake. Beside the point anything and everything US does is a fake. The bad (good) part is whatever US does is also effecting its own citizens. So it is not just taking the world for a ride but also its own citizens.
Imports of food into US are subjected too so much scrutiny to the extent it is even checked on the cosmetic appearance of the food. Looks like whatever an American consumes gets defecated in cosmetic appearance. Food produce from the US at the same time is exported from the US and if is approved by its FDA should be considered by countries it is exporting too as safe. Not that US has any great food produce it can boast of as Marc Faber a Swiss investor rightly quoted "The federal government is sending each of us a $600 rebate. If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, the money goes to China. If we spend it on gasoline it goes to the Arabs. If we buy a computer it will go to India. If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala. If we purchase a good car it will go to Germany. If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the American economy. The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes and beer, since these are the only products still produced in US. I've been doing my part."
Every policy of the US is not only a threat to the world but also its own citizens. The financial crisis is the best example, leading its own citizens homeless and jobless, and the US proving itself to be hopeless. Corrupt and evil practices in any sphere have its origins in the US including terrorism. Greed of corporations have got their manufacturing facilities outside US leading to further job losses and effect on its economy. To make it worse these same multinationals continue with their corrupt financial practices in the countries they set their base in, recent being Apple concealing its earnings in Europe and siphoning of millions in taxes to be paid. Then Tim Cook the CEO of Apple comes with a statement that Europe needs to modify its laws. If Mr. Cook if could cook lesser greed, there was no problem as Europe has been surviving with its laws and doesn’t need a Multinational like Apple to suggest laws for its Union.
War in Syria, US suddenly gives out a statement it has crossed a red line as there is allegations of chemical warfare by Assad forces. Who decides a red line? Is not a drop of blood of an innocent life being killed a red line? Is this not another excuse like Iraq where it was stated it has WMD and US entered and ruined a nation, which will never come out of the destruction in the near distant future. Sanctions being slapped on Iran for developing nuclear weapons and the same yard stick are not used for Israel. Rating India as amongst the fourth most dangerous places on earth, how safe is the US? Kids in US go to school with a fear not knowing when a next maniac would barge in with a gun and kill them. Celebrations on the street are a target. A sporting event like a Marathon is a target. An average American is always living in fear. US is worried about nuclear arsenal in Pakistan could fall prey to terrorists hands, at the same time whistleblowers are showing the world that the US of A is in wrong hands. US cannot clear guns out of it country and is set to clear the world of Nuclear weapons.
The founding fathers of the United States of America did an awesome job in making America a country for anyone to prosper. Ever since George Herbert Walker Bush had been the president US is sinking into a chaos. The American dream is now an American fear. Fear of terrorism, fear of homelessness, fear of financial crisis, fear of joblessness, fear of contaminated food sold by Multinationals, fear of its leaders who have proven that the country is being run by idiots who have made America, the United States of Arseholes.
