WTF?
The recent euphoria of violence and hatred over a movie (and that too over youtube) allegedly belittling The Beloved Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be upon Him) is confusing, surprising and definitely conspiring. The Beloved Prophet whose name we always add with Peace Be upon Him, is only hoping and wishing Peace Be upon Mankind.
Coming to the movie clip or even Salman Rushdie’s novel Satanic Verses, it’s no brainer that 90% of those protesting and vandalizing to vent their anger would have not seen the movie or read the novel and has been just instigated. Neither have I seen the movie or read the novel, so maybe that shows my ignorance and lack of feel of the hurt caused to those who have seen it or read the novel. The question is even if the content of both these mediums were sacrilege and provoking, is the way condemnation shown justified? One journalist rightly put it as the medium was youtube so why attack US embassies? None of the countries where violence was reported would ban youtube or Google, has anyone thought of that, and why is that? Will we stop existing if these mediums are banned? These companies would like to make us believe, that humanity will cease to exist without them.
My point is going one step forward (or backward). If someone uses a knife to kill are we going to stop manufacturing knives? Similarly if one deranged idiot posts something provocative on youtube, is youtube bad? It’s a medium that is abused as simple as that. Why is that we cannot get it right that this is a conspiracy by USD (United State of Devils) to belittle Islam and Muslims together. A very intelligent move going forward to keep profiling Muslims, in the created hallucinatory world of terrorism when they are the real terrorist, and we don’t need any more proofs to justify. From Japan to Vietnam to Afghanistan to Iraq, there is enough evidence to prove who the terrorist is.
I support condemnation to insult on any religion, nationality, race or ANY HUMAN BEING for that matter. However for something that was initiated in the US or Timbuktu and retaliating with violence in your home country is akin to looking up in the sky and spitting on a bird that pooped on you. The spit anyways lands back on your face. Vandalizing your own house, because your neighbor insulted you only results in your loss. Can retaliation or condemnation not be done with intelligence? When we know America is the root cause for all evil in today’s world, why can’t we hit them where it hurts and not where it hurts us. If today iPhone5 is a mega success, imagine no one in the Middle East buys it? Imagine no one buying GM or Ford Cars? Imagine no one patronizing Coke or McDonalds?
Our governments would never ban them, when they should and they can but will not, and let’s not try to know why, but the government cannot shove a bottle of coke down your throat or stuff your mouth with a MacBurger or force you to drive a American car. But you can make a difference and the difference would hurt America real hard. The difference can be even more devastating than a nuclear bomb on it. Anyways America is getting flushed faster than poop from a commode. For them the only survival is war or created tension through religious malicious broadcast over the Net. It is for us to ask ourselves, WTF? WHY THIS FIGHTING amongst us.
