Surgical Confusion
19 soldiers were cowardly murdered by Pakistani sponsored terrorists, and our retaliation paying them back in their own coin, was a payment defaulted and should have been paid a long time ago. Our government should be saluted for this response and our PM sure has proven his 56 incher (chest) was not just a muscle flexing showmanship, but also packed in a punch. The mood in the country is jubilant and of a feeling of security and thanks to our security forces. A perfect surgical strike, hitting precise and exact targets and causing maximum damage to the same. After that in India it has been a load of ‘surgical confusion’ of everyone wanting to make a ‘surgical byte’ and no one bothered about the families of these heroic martyrs.
Cannot also understand someone
like a Salman Khan preaching legality of the Pakistani TV and film artistes,
who have been issued work visa by our Government. He as an Indian, I want to
question his legality of murdering people with drunken driving and shooting of
endangered species of animals. Has he been legalized by Pakistani ISI to do it?
Someone ‘happy and gay’ like Karan Johar whose movie release may get effected
because it features Pakistani artistes, is suddenly speaking of how his heart
bleeds for the martyred soldiers. Wonder when was the last he donated blood
that he speaks of a bleeding heart? Then as they say in hindi ‘Neta aur Abhineta; kisi ka nahi hotha hai’,
which means Politicians and Cine Artiste can never be of anyone. Confusing is
when there is a problem with terrorism we suddenly realize that India should
not associate with Pakistani artistes or sportsperson, and we want them to make
statements against the terror attack on India that has happened and condemn the
same. If they don’t they are not considered as people who don’t empathize with
India who gives them work. At the same time an Indian actor can insult the dead
soldiers, asking who told these soldiers to take up arms. How does one tackle
an idiot like this? What about the celebrities who were conferred honorary titles
by the Army? We have Mohanlal from Kerala who misused the Army uniform after he
was conferred the title of Lieutenant Colonel. We have MS Dhoni a cricket
legend whose biopic did not even feature him being conferred the title of Lieutenant
Colonel by the Army, and his movie has grossed over a Billion Rupees in ticket
sales. All these celebrities who are conferred these titles and other
celebrities definitely do a great job of ‘surgical acting’.
Unless decided by the law no
political party or moral brigadiers should dictate how an individual should show
his patriotism or anger for the martyrdom of our heroic soldiers. Just does not
make sense; vandalism by few idiots who feel they can dictate how patriotism or
Pakistan bashing should be done. We have had enough of Politicians dictating
what we should eat, how to praise our Motherland. Then we have religious
leaders who want to dictate which days of the year people should not eat meat.
Then we have political parties who are even planning to go for Municipal polls
in Bombay, pitting devotes of ‘one religion’ with one of their God’s with
another. Soon we may even have political parties deciding which God we should worship.
At the same time we have politicians who question if the surgical strike in
Pakistan actually did happen! How different are these politicians from
Pakistani counterparts who claim the murder of our soldiers was a staged act by
Indian agencies themselves. Looks likes these politicians are Pakistani stooges
who are directed to play ‘surgical politics’. Retaliatory modes of some
political parties by hitting out at soft targets like Pakistani TV and film
artistes is confusing, but then political parties can hit out at anything and
everything that is insignificant and does not contribute to nation and
infrastructure building. Wonder why none of them can volunteer and help the
army and fight on the border, for which they lack not just a 56 incher (chest
like our PM) but also other parts of the anatomy which would fall short in ‘surgical
measurement’ or they may not even possess it.
Pakistan will never have the
courage to wage a conventional war against India. Then like Superman we also
have a ‘Super Idiot’ Rahul Gandhi; from the opposition party, who praises the
PM for his ‘first good act’ after his party came into power. At least he acknowledged there was a good
act. What was his party doing when they were in power? It was all throughout a
‘surgical silent act’ by the most educated Prime Minister in world, who was
kept muffled and stifled by a remote controlling Italian. A party which has
caused India much more damage than what Pakistan has done. A party right from
its genesis has prostituted the country. After a period of euphoria and
mourning for the dead soldiers, everything will be forgotten. No history books
will ever feature their names, at the same time we would be forced to remember and
study about political figures, of which most of them have only ruined the
nation. Right now we have the CM of Tamil Nadu who is ill and that is major
news, and there is a Doctor being flown from UK to treat her. Our founding
leaders fought the British to gain Independence, and now we have leaders who
are wanting British doctors to stay ‘surgically alive’.
Genuinely appreciate the religious
groups offering prayers for the souls of the martyred soldiers. Prayers from
various communities in their places of worship were just heartwarming to see
people getting united, in this moment of national sovereignty being compromised,
and our soldiers been brutally murdered when they were sleeping. For some
strange reason there has been no comment or prayers services that can be
remembered from my Christian community for the martyrs and their families.
Instead the ‘first commandment of the ten commandments’ of the Church instructs
that I should not worship strange Gods. None of these soldiers worshipped my
God but they ensured I was safe. The Church prays to a God who was crucified
and rose again. This God or any God for that matter will not resurrect the
soldiers who have died; but these soldiers who died have ensured I live. Least
the Church could have done, was have a ‘surgical prayer’ remembering the
martyrs.
