Lead us not into temptation

A recent attempt by Pope Francis to correct the Lord’s Prayer which suddenly the euphoria dimmed with after a global backlash. The Catholic laity today is an awakened body of followers who have realized that the Church is not some property of cassock donning crooks. Crooks because the amount of scams and frauds which are slowly surfacing out of the mountainous buried barb of religion is slowly emerging out. Though whatever has emerged or detected is a small speck of the tip of the Everest level corruption that is underground and the underbelly of the Church. Lifestyles of the Pope and his cronies are frustrating and angering the community worldwide. Pope Francis taking a chopper to meet his predecessor who failed as a Pope and resigned to save his whatever left respect. Pope Francis’s facade of living a modest life style is falling apart with lifestyle of his thugs of Bishops and Cardinals. If the Church would use its finances genuinely and with honesty no Catholic in the world would require ‘Medical Insurance’, and be given the best of medical facilities. The irony some of the Catholic owned medical institutes worldwide give no benefits to Catholics.

The only benefit a Catholic gets is assurance of prayers and blessings which is again a pay and pray scheme. A religion which teaches of charity which done by one hand should not be known by the other hand, on the contrary followers are instructed to write their names on envelopes and mention the amount contributed. Why is it? Is it to differentiate the ones who pay more and the ones who cannot, though a parable of Christ speaks of a poor lady’s contribution is valued much more than that of a rich man who screams his prayer aloud and of what he contributed?  Vatican bank scandals are in the public domain. Google the scams and frauds of the Church and it would put the ten commandment tablets to shame as even a hundred commandments would not be sufficient to cover the levels of corruption, which is very well concealed and followers are encouraged or even demanded they pay more citing tithe, Peter’s pence, Community Fund, Mission Fund and brand some names with novenas to saints including paying to receiving sacraments like communion and confirmation.

With all the corruption there comes the levels of sexual orgies resulting in a death of a Nun showcased as suicide by drowning in a well. Why would someone commit suicide with wrists slashed her abdomen showed presence of naphthalene balls. A nun used as sex slave for years by Bishop Franco Mullakal and the case now being probed by the courts in India. A Nun who protested for the victim was dismissed by her congregation and her family informed to take her home. Child sodomy and pedophile cases by the clergy globally can make any human wonder is it a religion or some medieval practice where sex is a way to deliverance. Maybe this could be a reason that the so called prophesied second coming is not happening as even Christ would prefer being crucified again rather than being sodomized by his own disciples. Mary and Joseph would dread to know that Christ is in a Church debating and interpreting his gospel with priests as they would find him in a bed room of a priest. Christ would be even confused to know who his disciples are and who Judas is. With amount of scandals and corruption it is difficult to differentiate between an honest disciple of Christ and Judas. At least Judas could be bought with 30 pieces of silver, the current Judases in the Church can be easily searched over the www (not just the World Wide Web) but lured over Wine, Women and Wealth.

A new mystery was added to the rosary prayers, by Pope John Paul II which was titled the Luminous Mystery as maybe one day there was a power failure in Vatican. So could this luminous mystery, have suddenly enlightened Pope Francis on the Lord’s Prayer said for over a millennium, to realize is being recited wrong. A line in the prayer states ‘Lead us not into temptation’, and he realized that the Lord does not lead his creation to temptation, or would it be now used as an excuse that the Lord is leading his disciples into temptation.
