How long with the Church leadership and laity continue to feel secure in prayer. More specific, the pay and pray model the Church practices. It's like we forced to pay tax to the Government and what do we get? Though not forced we are cajoled and coaxed into tithe collection, community collection, Saint Vincent De Paul collection, Mission collection, Peter's Pence collection and the list may soon be lengthier than the litany of saints prayed too. Then the taxes paid to the Government are audited and available on Public Domain or through RTI. How many Churches are having their accounts displayed in the Public Domain? The accounts are read out and if anyone wants to see the accounts are told they can come and see the accounts. Are the accounts of the first collections that are sent to the Archbishop House open to public domain? 

Absolutely no harm in collections as there will be no manna from heavens reigned or no miracles any Pope, Cardinal, Bishop, Priest, Deacon or laity can perform like Christ. The community cannot be fed with 2 loaves and 5 fish or healed of diseases, blind cured or lame walking. So the community needs money for schools, colleges and higher education Institutes. The problem being these Institutions are business Institutions. Will these Institutions have an audit of how many poor Christians are treated here for free?

Yes there is corruption in the Government with taxes collected and so too is in the Church. Peter's Pence financial scam is in Public Domain and still collected for the Pope's office expenses? Land scam and financial frauds with Church properties is an open secret. Sex crimes by the clergy can put porn movies to shame. 

In all this web of frauds and scams it is the laity and community at large that will soon pay the price. So soon that there maybe no reversal to the basic safety of the community. Attacks on the community increasing? Church properties may soon be taken over under any legal interpreted pretext or law passed like what has happened with the wakf board of Muslims. If this does not open the eyes of the Church and the community, then as we are nearing Good Friday, we can pray, Forgive them Father for they know they have eyes and yet refuse to see. Have ears and refuse to hear.
