Crucifying the Church

The recent (read ancient) problem of pedophile and philandering priests is a worse act than what Judas did by handing over Christ to be crucified. At least Christ was lucky that his ordeal was over in a day or two but the Catholic Church has been raped by priests over the decades. The undue advantage is the religion that has its HO operated out of the west has managed to cover up its atrocities, and will continue to do so, with its clout over governments that help to keep its dirty underbelly (literally under the belly) cloaked clean with its cassock attire and paraphernalia that the priests display during its religious rituals.

The Catholic Church is the fastest disintegrating body in Christianity and so to make to make up for its dwindling vocations; it has allowed the breakaway Anglican priests to join its gang. This in turn has created another problem as the Anglican priests are married and the Catholic priests have to live a life of celibacy. Doubt if abolishing celibacy would have any effect with the perverts that embrace a life of priesthood and most of them who treat the Church as a sucker, enjoy a comfortable life, fool the laity with their boring sermons, and sexually abuse innocents who are handled to their care to be imparted in doctrine in religious and moral values.

The Church who can show Jesus who was of Middle Eastern origins as a white man with blue eyes and make him look a poster pin up dude, can even go to any extent to cover this mess and as always it will succeed, starting with the Pope shedding some crocodile tears at a recent event to save the dastardly crocodiles in his fold. There have been cases of Popes in the past who have fathered kids, and some of the kids getting back into the gang of priesthood and few of them rising to powerful positions in the Church. Not that this does not happen with other religious orders and it’s priests, but the extent that the Catholic Church goes to cover it up with its money power is shameful.

It is no longer a case of one or few bad apples that can spoil the whole bunch, but the many in the bunch are rotten and spoilt and would bite the forbidden fruit. For the few who are dedicated my heart reaches out to them in solidarity of their faith and the great work they are doing, and I am amongst the fortunate to be a product of such Catholic Institutions and priests who have mentored and groomed me to what I am today. For the Church to clear this mess would take a long while and in the mean time there would be a spurt of self styled individuals who will start their own Churches. The Catholic Church will continue as usual racist with white men who would be at the helm of affairs as I doubt in my life I would see a black Pope. A Church, who could kill Galileo subjecting him to house arrest because he proved the earth was round, will continue killing the laity whose beliefs are unfortunately still connected through the priests.

A clear example of abuse of power is in one the Middle East countries where unfortunately it is a white man who is a bishop who belongs to a less known sect of a Roman Catholic missionary named Daniel Comboni. A new Church was commissioned in one of the governates of the country, whose majority of Catholics are from the Indian subcontinent and Far East, who know very little of Daniel Comboni, despite that the Church was named after Daniel Comboni, just because the Bishop belongs to the sect of Daniel Comboni. Couldn’t the church have a neutral name as Church of Christ, Sacred Heart, etc, or a named after a Saint from the subcontinent? The common Catholic laity expatriates mostly from Indian subcontinent who go to Middle East to earn a living, care a less after whom a Church is named, and there are priests or Bishops who would abuse their power. Ironically it is not even a priest from the Daniel Comboni sect who is the parish priest in the new Church.

Christ was definitely very lucky as there was only one Judas in his clan, but in our time we only have Judases that run the Church, and for the few genuinely religious priests in the Church my prayers would always be in their support, and for the victims of abuse and their families I join them in prayer pleading and begging God “Do not forgive them Father, for they know what they did, and what they are doing and what they will continue to do, Amen”.

a very blod n disputable writing, sunny.. wonder how d religious heads will react to ur words.. but all u say is fair enough.. bless u

Sunny.....couldn't agree with you more on this blog. While I have much respect for Catholic individuals, as I do all people of different faiths, I have little good to say on a religion that allows such atrocities to continue. History speaks for itself not only in this issue, but in the issue of war as well. My hope is that followers won't blame God, but blame man and the Devil himself instead.

A wonderful & bold writing Sunny. Dear the problem with all the churches and christian relegion is they are not following Bible. The Priests and Nuns they will teach the subjects and languages in their institutions but they are not teaching the True Word of God form Bible, b'cos as it is written in Hebrews 4:12- "For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart". It will cut the one who teach that unless until He/She is pure enough they cannot proclain the True Name of Jesus, or cannot be a CHRISTIAN.

Sunny, as usual you rock with your brutally honest statements. You would have made a far better priest and would have also taught them a thing or two!! Continue throwing stones at them and we will pray that one stone should fall on one of them directly on their skull and crack it.
