Vijay


Vijay, the name that means victory. And this was real victory of Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar. An established actor and also the highest paid. When India idolizes Bollywood and its actors who fall short dwarfed in front of actors from South India. Literally dwarfed where Shahrukh Khan made a movie Zero, in which he plays a dwarf and a movie was actually a Zero in popularity. Another hyped actor who has a song which says I am the best.

When Bollywood movies flushed with money and best in technology end up copying or buying copyrights of South Indian movies. So low are their standards with the highest production cost that South Indian movies with modest budgets make the best and highest quality of movies Needless to mention the standards of talent and modesty of its actors. One such example is Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar.

Thalapathy means General or Commander, and Vijay has proven to be exactly that. In the 2026 elections, his party, TVK, delivered a political earthquake that shook the foundations of the DMK (est. 1949) and AIADMK (est. 1972). By positioning himself as a leader who transcends religious divides—born to a Christian father and Hindu mother—Vijay has tapped into an awakened electorate that values merit over identity politics.

The undercurrent of this imminent victory is not just his speeches against corruption or the benefits Vijay has promised. The undercurrent is an awakened India or maybe just South India or precisely Tamil Nadu, that is not going to fall into religious divisive politics. Vijay is born to a Christian Father and a Hindu Mother. He identifies himself as a Christian but respects all religions and not wear his religious identity as a badge. 

Indians have had enough of this religious ideology be fed to them. They have now realised that it was Religion laced with poison of hate. They dont want to be dictated on which language is national language. Again something only Tamil Nadu had the courage to say no to Hindi. Soon this victory of Tamil Nadu will be a victory that will displace dynastic and dictatorial political regime. The victory which means Vijay, it has started in Tamil Nadu.

But the hero's challenges are only beginning. He is atleast 10 short of majority, so has to depend on allies. His party is new to governance and they have a lot of promises in their manifesto to keep up.
