The story of a Swamy
Sunday 05 July 2026 a beautful seminar commemorating the 5th anniversary of Fr. Stan Swamy's martyrdom was held. Attended by an undaunted crowd that showed up despite incessant rainfail? Only Question unanswered were the so-called ones who question the system, and challenging the failure of the judicial system and the governance of the country in Fr. Stan Swamy's case. The question to Vatican why is Fr. Stam Swamy not yet beatified? Is the government of India stalling it?
Yes, allegedly the country is corrupt, the politicians are corrupt, the bureaucrats are corrupt, so what are we doing? Expecting justice with seminars, and eloquent, motivating, and praising speeches about Fr. Stan Swamy life and his slefless work amongst the tribal community. Like Fr. Stan Swamy, there are many activists still rotting, incarcerated in filthy jails because of a rotten system. What is the solution? Reminding the audience of a 2029 election is not a solution. As BJP winning and rising to power is questionable and EVM tampering is alleged. My question is, what is the BCS (Bombay Catholic Sabha) or the Church doing to form a political party? The Bombay Catholic Sabha is more of a Bombay Church Sabha, as has there been any statement from the Sabha regarding any crimes by the clergy? All of the crimes in the public domain? The ones that made national headlines were the Bishop Franco Mulakkal rape case and the allegations of Bishop William fathering a child. Recently even celebration of St. John the Baptist, San Jao festival, was not allowed by the Parish Priest of Holy Cross Kurla. Shocking was that the Parish Priest lodging police complaint of one of the organizers? What did the Bombay Sabha or the Archbishop do? Bombay Catholic Sabha should be for the Catholics of Bomay and not for the Church of Bombay.
Fr. Stan Swamy and many others will die as martyrs giving up their lives. Even expecting a court judgment confirming Fr. Stan Swamy's innocence would be something that could be discussed only every year at a seminar on his death anniversary. How many statements of strong condemnation on Fr. Stan Swamy's murder by the system were announced by the Vatican or the Head of the Jesuit Institution?
Why has the Catholic Church or the Vatican not taken this case to the International Court of Justice? What is stopping the BCS or Catholic Church in India from demanding the canonization of Fr. Stan Swamy as a Saint? If the Vatican could recently canonize a Saint of the Internet, they can definitely beatify Fr. Stan Swamy to be later cannonise him as a Saint of Tribal India. Mother Theresa was beatified in two years after her death, then why not Fr. Stan Swamy? As questioned in my earlier blog, is it because she is white and he is brown? Fr. Stan Swamy's beatification would be the biggest blow of shame to the BJP government, for the killing of Fr. Stan Swamy.
In fact, at the seminar, an opening speech by a priest had a slip of the tongue and he even addressed Fr. Stan Swamy as 'Saint Stan Swamy'. Time the clergy, BCS and the laity not slip their tongue and let their tongue question the Vatican. Unless the waiting for tongues of fire to drive courage on the head?

Fr Stan Swami Soul will Rest In Peace only after he will be Beatified. But our Hierarchy will not allow it to happen. Although Cardinal Oswald knew the full Truth of his imprisonment. He never made any statement nor supported Fr Stan, because he was afraid of the Government.
BCS are like Puppet in the hands of AB House, they will only listen to their Master voice. So don't expect anything from them, although your suggestion are SUPERB.
"Sao Joao Feast Celebration" what can I say? Parish priest Fr Barthol Machado who has been inaugurating this Feast for the past 3 years. Takes a U turn and organises a morcha of roughly 30 PPC & SCC members to the Police station to lodged a complaint against me because I exposed him in an Criminal case where an FIR was lodged against him and he was running away from the Police for 2 months because he was not getting bail.
These are called REVENGEFUL Priest.
