Thank you Don Bosco
I have not met or seen Don Bosco. I heard a lot about him during my Boarding school days. Seen lots of his pictures and statues
I even know it is an artistc impression of Don Bosco ad not the real him. I was keen to know more of him and know what he looked like
Wanted to know more of his works amongst the youth. I read and looked everywhere only to realise that I was looking everywhere wrong and not looking at every Salesain vocations, teachers and all who work in Salesian Institutions who was and is Don Bosco.
His work was what I wanted to see, and not realsing that I was not seeing it in me. I am a product of Don Don Bosco. I may not be some one famous, rich, popular, religious, pious and good But if there is any good in me it is because of Don Bosco and not only the Don Bosco of whom I have read, seen in picture or statues. It is the Don Bosco in Salesian vocations, teachers and staff is Salesian schools, and thank you for making the best part of me.....Me
Yes I have my faults, bad, wrongs and not so good part of me may outweigh the microscopic good in me.
Then I owe that microscopic good in me to all Salesian priests as without them THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NOTHING GOOD IN ME.
In gratefulness to all Salesian vocations, school teachers, support staff of Don Bosco Matunga, to whom my gratitude will always fall short to express in words

Democracy or....???
Democracy is supposedly For The People, By The People, Of The People. In India it is For Few People, By Few People and with Few People. If not how would one justify the wealth distribution in India? Few individuals holding the major chunk of wealth and majority living in poverty?
If Democracy is equality of justice, is there really equality of it? Rapists are let out on bail. Not just let out but even felicitated and welcomed with garlands when coming out of jail. At the same time thousands or more languishing in jail with no justice. Recently a man served prison time of 10.years and was acquitted, for a cartoon forward of a minister in India. That's besides the point many look like cartoons. Then are cases which goes on for decades and cases of the rich which get cleared as smooth as how one clears out after making a purchase from a supermarket. Does justice come with a price tag, which only the rich can buy?
By the People means People decide who will run the country with elections. The ones that then get elected don't run the country, they start ruling it and ruining it. Ruling and dictating what one can eat and cannot eat, what language should be spoken, what salutation should be said when you address the nation, finding which religious God structure was prevalent over which another religious God structure was built.
Ending up with people still going hungry, forget what language one can speak or should speak but frightened to speak. One cannot speak against the system as can be imprisoned or slapped with sedition. How good is addressing the nation with respect, when there is no respect for its citizens. Public Transport is worse than what cattle gets transported, and how do the ones we elect travel? Not just how they travel, but a city can be brought to standstill when they visit another state and even businesses told to leave their staff early as roads and public transport would be shut on the routes our elected rulers would be travelling. Irony is giving respect for a religious God structure by demolishing another religious God structure built over it. At the same time illegal structures of slums and even elite residential towers are built. So God structure is to appease a majority religion for votes and illegal slums are for vote banks.
Freedom of press is gagged by the media houses getting purchased by Business Tycoons who are oriented to the ruling party. So nothing negative would be aired by these media houses against the ruling party or Business Entities that has purchased these media house. To the extent one of the alleged biggest scams of Indian history is exposed by a foreign media company. Even politicians of opposition get purchased. How different is it from the flesh trade?
Is this democracy or democrazy? Where a country is ruined by a crazy few or we as a nation crazy to elect these few?

Vocations, Locations and Donations

The video was nothing short of a advertisement with priests very well attired like corporate honchos and speaking fluent impecabble English. All claiming of a calling from.God to the vocation of priesthood. Some of them with long hair. Was it to impersonate and model like Jesus, how he allegedly looked like. They were so well attired and groomed, that they could make good models for hair products or clothing attire, and less a model of Christ.
Are not other professions a calling from God? What is so great or better or more noble in priesthood? The Armed Forces of a country is the real calling. A calling to protect the country. Very well knowing that they could die on line of duty. So are all professionals where the individuals have given up everything to follow the calling of nobility in serving humanity. Like highly educated Doctors or Lawyers who help the poorest of poor.
So is priesthood a profession where an individual decides to help the marginalized, the sick, the homeless, the mentally and emotionally broken. Then what is happening? Corruption in the Catholic Church can make a healthy feel completely sick. Rapes, sodomy, financial frauds, land scams, name any crime that the clergy is not involved in? Sometimes it is like as if the Church inspires criminals to join priesthood or grooms priests to be criminals. The Church is even trying to protect and validate the sacramental spiritual acts of these inhuman clergy, claiming that the sacraments given are not void as it is ultimately Jesus intervening through them. It's like Judas attempting to preach and administer Communion after betraying Christ for 30 pieces of silver.

Where is the vocation or calling of God to the clergy to raise their voices towards these cruel, inhuman perpetrators of crime? How many crimes has the Church brought to light a crime of a clergy before the hand of law, exposed these criminals. Did the voice of God silence the voices of these clergy in power? Did God not call out to them to intervene and help when HIS people were praying and crying for help? Or is it only a hymn that the clergy wants the laity to sing, "God listen to your people praying." And they prey on these same people who pray.
Do a simple analysis of from where are the numbers of Priests or Nuns coming today. Most from rural places, some to escape poverty. How many lawyers, Doctors, Engineers become priests? Catholic priests are not allowed to marry. Then the Anglican clergy who come to the Roman Catholic fold are married. So are Roman Catholics priests of Eastern regions of the world married. Why this discrimination. It was a Pope who struck down marriage for priesthood, when there were sexually active and even married Popes.
Vocations (in the true sense of the calling from God) in priesthood are priests like Fr. Stan Swamy who was martyred by the legal system of the country, for doing what Christ did. The irony is priests and Nuns from India are sent abroad. Most of them discriminated and many cases of Nuns made to do menial jobs. Over Two Thousand years and not a single Indian Pope. Indian Roman Catholic Church should cut ties of its colonial rule from Rome. As it anyways serves no purpose. Indian Roman Catholics (more the clergy) are so obsessed with a foreign country name associated with their religious faith. A stamp of forced colonisation religion. No religion is associated with a country HQ name. Do Muslims call themselves Saudi Muslims, or Hindus as Indian Hindus or Zoarastrians as Irani Zorastrians.
If there is a shortage of vocations why are Priests and Nuns exported to foreign lands? Why are collections from India sent to foreign missions. Like the Bible preached, so should the accounts of money collected be reached to every laity. Let there be transperancy on collections.
Stop luring youth only into priesthood, but encourage also them to professions which will help the laity through Churches. Let their talents be the tithe given. Ten percent of their time given to help and not ten percent of money demanded citing the Bible with wrong interpretation. Today Catholic schools and hospitals have become a den of thieves. Even Fr. Stan Swamy said what good are our educational Institutes if the poor cannot access it.
How many Indian origin clergy have a congregation that they have made and is worldwide? How long will Indian Roman Catholic Church be under white colonial regime? Why is the Roman Catholic Church not able to groom clergy leaders? When will we see an Indian Pope? Will the Vatican be only fishers of Indians clergy to be their slaves? Why is Fr. Agnel not yet cannonised or his congregation not supported by the Vatican to expand globally?
So let the Church not be just luring youth into vocation of religious lives but ensuring none of them are sent to foreign locations and be transperant on donations

Don't fan their candle flame
Both these communities the most peaceful and peace loving communities in India. Catholic Educational Institutions today stands as a rock of India's educational system that built the knowledge capital of modern India. Many of the elite including polticians were educated in these August Educational Institutes. The least respect and gratitude that can be given to the community is to allow their departed souls to rest in peace.
Recently the courts of the country intervened for slum dwellers who had encroached into railway land which they were staying there illegally for decades. Salute the humanity of the Indian courts who said the government needs to find a solution even though the slum dwellers were illegally occupying railway land..Then why is the government trying to forcibly encroach into legally owned land of these communities. Are these not human beings whose mortal remains are laid to rest?
The government who is known as a bulldozer government for bulldozing allegedly illegal structures, now stooping so low that they want to dig low into graveyards for alleged road construction? That too legally owned property land and not encroached land. Why is the government forcibly encroaching into legal land in the guise of road infrastructure development, when it is for commercial interest of a builder and to fill coffers of corrupt few in government.
The Catholic community will never allow the corrupt to fill their coffers emptying mud from their graveyards. They will protest till the end and potest peacefully and with legal means. This candle march is with a request to the government, please don't fan their candle flame as it could end being a pyre for the government in power.

Don't provoke David
What was the allegation? Tribals were being converted to Christianity. So, can a person not convert to another faith in India? Why these attacks on the most peace-loving community in India? A community which you will find the least number of criminals, fraudsters, thieves, murderers or any crime one can think off. Just because they practice a faith that teaches them to offer the left cheek if someone slaps their right cheek, do they need to be persecuted and subjected to sectarian violence?
The latest atrocity on the Catholic community is in Bombay, where a portion of Catholic owned graveyard property is planned for demolition for alleged infrastructure work? The city has mushroomed with slums, and all protected as vote banks. Infact even cut off dates for slums which were made till a certain date keeps getting postponed and even legalized. It is not just persecuting the living Christians and not even allowing the dead to rest in peace in their graves!
Christianity is a religion where their God Jesus Christ rose from the dead and walked out of the tomb. The dead Christians may not rise from the dead but don't provoke the David in the living Christians.
